Autumn Quiet
We're now half a year in, and growth has been quiet. Not explosive, not disappointing—just steady. People find us, play for a while, and either come back or don't. We've never chased downloads or tried to go viral. That feels like the right approach for what we're building.
Staying small is a deliberate choice. We could expand the game library, add features, introduce cosmetics or achievements that players chase. Every temptation is there. But expanding would change what Britannia is—a place where you can step back and relax without the grinding feeling of modern gaming.
Autumn's bringing cooler evenings, the kind where sitting down with a game feels natural rather than like you're avoiding something else. That's the season we imagined when building this. Games for a quiet night in, nothing more, nothing less.
We've been asked about monetisation too. The answer remains: there isn't any. We run this quietly, with genuine players in mind, not revenue models. If that changes someday, we'll be honest about it. For now, that's not the goal.
